Opis stanowiska

Job Description:

Flexible working hours in an office first model (4/1) that depend on you and your team. Starting later or finishing earlier? No problem! Work hours keep pace with our lifestyles and can start between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m.

We are seeking a passionate and proactive Product Manager to join our team, with a strong focus on both merchant experience and ensuring the highest quality of offers and products. This role is integral to developing and optimizing the Merchant Listing (Adding Offers and Products) area.

In this position, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing solutions for validating and improving the quality of products in our catalog. You will not only work on improving the existing processes but also shape and create the strategy for new ways of ensuring product excellence, with a particular emphasis on data accuracy and attractiveness within the product catalog.

Your work will directly impact merchants in Poland, Czech, Slovakia, and new markets, ensuring their offers and products meet consumer expectations and Allegro standards. This role is critical in helping Allegro achieve frictionless assortment listing, build a reliable product catalog, and improve  shopping experience.

In your daily work, you will be primarily responsible for:

  • Understanding and defining the critical problems faced by merchants, working closely with stakeholders to ensure their constraints and needs are considered, ultimately translating these into opportunities to deliver valuable outcomes for the business and customers.
  • Owning the problem space and the solutions for your product area, partnering with your cross-functional engineering team to discover, design, and deliver solutions that align with strategic business objectives and drive measurable results.
  • Defining the strategic problems your team will tackle, focusing on achieving business outcomes rather than just delivering features, and being accountable for the product's results.
  • Driving continuous product discovery and delivery within the Merchant Listing domain (Adding Offers and Products), from deeply understanding merchant needs, assessing value, usability, feasibility, and viability risks, to ensuring the successful go-to-market and ongoing evolution of solutions that achieve necessary outcomes.
  • Fostering strong cross-functional collaboration across various teams and with stakeholders, providing clear strategic context to ensure alignment on objectives and shared understanding.
  • Delivering impactful outcomes for merchants by leading an empowered, cross-functional product team, working directly with stakeholders, Commerce, Legal, engineering teams, data analysts, UX designers, researchers, and other product managers, leveraging their collective expertise.
  • Proactively running continuous product discovery to identify and validate opportunities that improve merchant experience and key product performance indicators, ensuring that solutions are valuable, usable, feasible, and viable.

We are looking for people with:

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager or similar role in project management (product discovery, creating product strategy, roadmapping, resource planning, risk assessment, stakeholder cooperation).
  • Experience in designing and implementing changes based on A/B testing and data analysis.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and strong decision-making skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and managing product backlogs.
  • Ability to see the product through the eyes of the clients and understand their needs.
  • Fluent in Polish and English.
  • Experience in AI/ML solutions (not a must, but beneficial given our strategic direction to leverage AI for data extraction, enrichment, compliance, and name quality assessment).

Collaboration is key: You will work closely with the Merchant Business Teams, CX, Technology, and Product departments, engaging in international projects and key company initiatives. Your collaboration will span various teams including Commerce, Legal, development teams, data analysts, UX designers, researchers, and other product managers.

What's in it for you:

  • Flexible working hours in the hybrid model (4/1) - working hours start between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. We also have 30 days of occasional remote work.
  • Long term discretionary incentive plan based on Allegro.eu shares (restricted stock units).
  • Annual bonus based on your annual performance and company results.
  • Well-located offices (with e.g. fully equipped kitchens, bicycle parking, terraces full of greenery) and excellent work tools (e.g., raised desks, ergonomic chairs, interactive conference rooms).
  • A 16" or 14" MacBook Pro or corresponding Dell with Windows (if you don't like Macs) and all the necessary accessories.
  • A wide selection of fringe benefits in a cafeteria plan - you choose what you like (e.g., medical, sports or lunch packages, insurance, purchase vouchers).
  • English classes that we pay for related to the specific nature of your job.
  • A training budget, inter-team tourism (see more here), hackathons, and an internal learning platform where you will find multiple trainings.
  • An additional day off for volunteering, which you can use alone, with a team, or with a larger group of people connected by a common goal.
  • Social events for Allegro people - Spin Kilometers, Family Day, Fat Thursday, Advent of Code, and many other occasions we enjoy.

And that's just the beginning! You can read more about the benefits here.
