We are currently looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our team in Poznań. In this role, you will be part of a dynamic environment where your accounting skills will directly contribute to the stability and transparency of our financial operations. Your main responsibilities:
- Managing bank statements - posting and reconciliation
- Reconciliation of data from analytical reports and subledger with postings in the general ledger
- General ledger postings - preparation and posting of journals
- Preparation of documents/files to confirm the correctness of the balances and P&L amounts
- Participation in the month-closing process
- Evidence of purchases invoices regarding company's assets
- Entering fixed assets/intangible assets into the accounting records
- Reconciliation of fixed asset subsidiary ledger to the business unit general ledgers
- Evidence of asset capitalization, asset depreciation and retirement
- Record of disposal and movement of assets
- Preparation of data for reporting purposes and audits
- Interaction with external and internal auditors
- Verification of bookkeeping in terms of tax regulations
- Cooperation with internal departments in the whole group (work in international environment)
- Support of Senior Specialists/Manager on a daily tasks
- Support of Senior Specialists/Manager in preparation of tax returns and the financial statements
- Provide periodic and ad hoc reporting for higher level personnel or for project purposes
This is the right job for you if:
- Accounting Principles: Deep understanding and practical application of accounting rules.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of SAP system (navigation) and proficiency in Excel and Google Workspace.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in processing financial data.
- Education: University degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
- Professional Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a Finance Department or an outsourcing company is considered a strong asset.
- Languages: Proficiency in Polish (C1) and English (B2) is required.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving.
- Ownership, reliability, and excellent cooperation skills.
