Job Description

Your main responsibilities:

  • Providing advisory functions and proactive support to the operations department regarding Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) within your region (North-Western Poland).

  • Monitoring working conditions and auditing compliance with OHS regulations and standards across subordinate organizational units (courier depots and sorting facilities).

  • Conducting initial OHS training, analyzing training needs, and planning periodic safety training sessions.

  • Developing and implementing standards, workplace instructions, and occupational risk assessments.

  • Participating in post-accident proceedings, including determining causes and circumstances, as well as implementing corrective actions.

  • Managing OHS documentation: preparing reports and statistics, and maintaining all required registers.

  • Cooperating with environmental laboratories regarding workplace measurements and monitoring.

  • Supervising fire safety (fire protection) measures.

  • Promoting a safety culture and raising employee awareness regarding workplace hazards.

This is the right job for you if:

  • You build partner relationships with the operations team, translating the rigor of regulations into practical, real-world solutions.

  • You have at least 2 years of professional experience in a similar position (distribution center/logistics/courier warehouse/sorting plant) and possess a strong understanding of high-dynamics logistics or production environments.

  • You hold a university degree specializing in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) or have completed postgraduate studies in this field.

  • You have expert knowledge of current OHS, fire safety, and labor law regulations, and you can apply them effectively in practice.

  • You are self-reliant, highly organized, and capable of identifying tasks while working within a distributed (remote/regional) team.

  • You collaborate skillfully with stakeholders across various management levels.

  • You hold a valid Category B driver’s license.

  • You are ready for regular business travel to the company’s locations within the region.

  • You hold certified Fire Safety Inspector qualifications (Inspektor PPOŻ).

  • You are proficient in English (B2 level), both written and spoken, sufficient for conducting training sessions.

  • You inspire colleagues to shift their mindset from "I have to follow the rules" to "I want to care for safety."
