Opis stanowiska

About the team:

As Log4ever, we’re responsible for the gateway to Allegro: login, registration, and account recovery. We aren't a typical "feature-building" team; we are a mission-critical unit with significant independence and ownership over one of the most sensitive parts of the ecosystem. We’re looking for an iOS Developer to help us redefine authentication and strengthen our security-first culture. We don’t just build forms; we co-create a frictionless and secure environment, pioneering innovations like Passkeys - passwordless authentication - to shape the future of how millions of users access our platform.

Our team develops high-stakes authentication flows where performance and reliability are paramount. You’ll cooperate closely with security experts and other iOS developers, taking full responsibility for creating and maintaining native components that are the foundation of user trust at Allegro.

Important things for you:

  • Flexible working hours in the hybrid model (4/1) - working hours start between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. We also have 30 days of occasional remote work.
  • The salary range for this position depending on the skill set is as follows (contract of employment, tax-deductible cost):
    • PLN 14 200 - 20 200
    • Annual bonus based on your annual performance and company results.
  • Our team is based in Poznań.

What You'll Do:

  • Design and develop critical authentication flows, ensuring the highest standards of security, performance, and reliability for millions of users.
  • Drive the implementation of cutting-edge technologies like Passkeys and biometric authentication to create a frictionless, passwordless future at Allegro.
  • Collaborate closely with Security and Product teams to architect solutions that perfectly balance a seamless user experience with robust account protection.
  • Take full ownership of the login and registration lifecycle, from initial architectural discussions to deploying code that serves as the gateway to our entire ecosystem.
  • Maintain and evolve core iOS components dedicated to identity management, focusing on modularity, testability, and high-quality engineering standards.
  • Participate in deep technical discussions and code reviews, championing a culture where security and performance are never compromised.

We are looking for people who:

  • Have 2+ years of professional experience in native iOS development, with a strong grasp of the Apple ecosystem.
  • Have a solid understanding of both SwiftUI and UIKit, and know when to leverage each to build robust interfaces.
  • Have a security-first mindset - you understand the importance of handling sensitive user data and are familiar with (or eager to master) technologies like Keychain, Biometrics (FaceID/TouchID), and Passkeys.
  • Are familiar with modern asynchronous programming in Swift (Async/Await, Combine), which is essential for complex authentication flows.
  • Have experience in close cooperation with Product Managers and UX designers, balancing high security with a seamless user experience.
  • Are obsessed with reliability - you understand that in the login process, edge cases and error handling are just as important as the "happy path."
  • Have experience in writing unit and integration tests to ensure our gateway is always rock-solid.
  • Are open-minded, curious, and willing to experiment. Our work goes beyond writing code - we solve architectural puzzles and research new standards.
  • Take care of the quality and cleanliness of the code, following best practices and SOLID principles.
  • Have good communication skills in English and Polish, both written and spoken.

What's in it for you:

  • Well-located offices (with e.g. fully equipped kitchens, bicycle parking, terraces full of greenery) and excellent work tools (e.g., raised desks, ergonomic chairs, interactive conference rooms).
  • A 16" or 14" MacBook Pro and all the necessary accessories.
  • A wide selection of fringe benefits in a cafeteria plan - you choose what you like (e.g., medical, sports or lunch packages, insurance, purchase vouchers).
  • English classes that we pay for related to the specific nature of your job.
  • A training budget, inter-team tourism (see more here), hackathons, and an internal learning platform where you will find multiple trainings.
  • An additional day off for volunteering, which you can use alone, with a team, or with a larger group of people connected by a common goal.
  • Social events for Allegro people - Spin Kilometers, Family Day, Fat Thursday, Advent of Code, and many other occasions we enjoy.

And that's just the beginning! You can read more about the benefits here.

  • You will value our Developer Experience and the full platform of tools and technologies that make creating software easier. We rely on an internal ecosystem based on self-service and widely used tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, Consul, GitHub, and GitHub Actions. • You will become part of Allegro Tech - We speak at industry conferences, cooperate with tech communities, run our own blog (it's been over 10 years!), record podcasts, lead guilds, and we organize our own internal conference - the Allegro Tech Meeting. We create solutions we love (and can) to talk about!
