Ready for a new challenge? Join our Consumer Data team.
We are looking for a highly analytical problem-solver with a product mindset, someone who sees data not just as tables and reports, but as a powerful tool for discovering opportunities and actively shaping the product. You won't just be pulling data; you will turn complex datasets into actionable product strategies on one of the world's largest eCommerce platforms.
In this role, your insights, forecasts, and hypotheses will directly dictate how our products evolve. You will leverage applied math, statistics, and machine learning to build a robust backbone for data-driven decisions that impact millions of shoppers.
If you are an SQL expert with a solid foundation in statistics, and you thrive on translating diverse data challenges into real product impact, this is the place for you.
Important things for you:
- Flexible working hours in the hybrid model (4/1) - working hours start between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. We also have 30 days of occasional remote work.
- The salary range for this position depending on the skill set is as follows (contract of employment, tax-deductible cost):
- PLN 14 600 - 20 825
- Annual bonus based on your annual performance and company results.
- Our team is based in Poznań.
What You'll Do:
- Data-Driven Product Shaping: Extract meaningful insights from user interactions, and behaviors across Poland and international markets to continuously refine Allegro.
- Trend & Competitive Analysis: Dive into complex user behaviors and market patterns to ensure our solutions stay ahead of the curve in the fast-evolving AI-driven eCommerce landscape.
- Complex Problem Solving: Independently answer challenging business and product questions by translating raw data into compelling narratives and actionable product hypotheses.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product Managers, engineers, and technical teams to design and implement new platform capabilities based on real-world data.
- A/B Experimentation: Partner with PMs to design and execute A/B tests that scale Allegro. You will take ownership of metric selection and derive strategic insights from experimental data to guide product decisions.
We are looking for a person who:
- Is highly proficient in advanced SQL.
- Has a deep understanding of statistics and probability
- Possesses a strong product mindset
- Is skilled in data visualization (experience with Looker, Tableau, or Data Studio is a plus).
- Has a basic knowledge of Python and Machine Learning.
- Possesses insight-generating skills that enable the translation of complex analytical problems into clear product strategies
- has strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex analyses in a clear and accessible manner to any audience.
What's in it for you:
- Flexible working hours in the hybrid model (4/1) - working hours start between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. We also have 30 days of occasional remote work.
- Well-located offices (with e.g. fully equipped kitchens, bicycle parking, terraces full of greenery) and excellent work tools (e.g., raised desks, ergonomic chairs, interactive conference rooms).
- A 16" or 14" MacBook Pro or corresponding Dell with Windows (if you don't like Macs) and all the necessary accessories.
- A wide selection of fringe benefits in a cafeteria plan - you choose what you like (e.g., medical, sports or lunch packages, insurance, purchase vouchers).
- English classes that we pay for related to the specific nature of your job.
- A training budget, inter-team tourism (see more here), hackathons, and an internal learning platform where you will find multiple trainings.
