We are looking for a passionate and proactive Product Manager with a strong focus on user experience to drive crucial functionalities for the FinOps team at Allegro. This role is responsible for the vision, design, and delivery of internal applications and dashboards that empower our infrastructure users. You will be at the center of driving financial accountability and transparency across the organization. Your mission is to translate complex cloud and infrastructure cost data into actionable insights, provide clear recommendations for cost optimization, and help teams identify and eliminate waste. You will be in charge of working with stakeholders (like Engineering, Platform, and Finance) and a dedicated product team to deliver value, make cost management easier for all involved, and implement the core pillars of FinOps at Allegro.
What your key responsibilities will be:
- Understand and define the critical problems faced by users, working closely with stakeholders to ensure their constraints and needs are considered, ultimately translating these into opportunities to deliver valuable outcomes for the business and customers.
- Own the problem space and the solutions for the product area, partner with your cross-functional engineering team to discover, design, and deliver solutions that align with strategic business objectives and drive measurable results.
- Own the product roadmap and backlog for our internal FinOps tools, including cost-visibility dashboards, reporting applications, and automated alerts.
- Collaborate closely with infrastructure users (e.g., software engineers, platform teams) to deeply understand their workflows, pain points, and needs regarding cost management.
- Translate complex cost data and FinOps principles into clear, user-friendly features and intuitive dashboards.
- Drive the development of features that provide users with tangible recommendations for cost optimization (e.g., rightsizing resources, scheduling non-production environments, identifying unused assets).
- Champion FinOps principles (Inform, Optimize, Operate) across the organization, helping to build a company-wide culture of cost-consciousness.
- Define and track key metrics (KPIs) to measure product success, user adoption, and the direct financial impact of your solutions.
- Manage stakeholders by communicating the product vision, roadmap, and progress effectively.
We are looking for people with:
- Proven experience as a Product Manager or similar role in project management (product discovery, creating product strategy, roadmapping, resource planning, risk assessment, stakeholder cooperation).
- Excellent analytical skills; you must be comfortable diving into data to find insights, identify waste, and build a business case
- Experience in designing and implementing changes based on A/B testing and data analysis.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and strong decision-making skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and managing product backlogs.
- Ability to see the product through the eyes of the users and understand their needs.
- Fluent in Polish and English.
- (Bonus) A technical background (e.g., engineering, data science) or experience with data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI) is a significant plus.
