SAP ABAP Manager

About the Team:

The FinanceTech team is responsible for the development and maintenance of IT systems that support the area of corporate finance. We work with systems such as SAP, IBM Cognos, and Kyriba. We ensure that financial, controlling, and procurement processes run efficiently with the support of IT systems.

As a Team Leader of SAP ABAP, you will be directing a team responsible for the development, configuration, and maintenance of SAP systems at Allegro and its group companies. This role requires strong technical skills in SAP ABAP (knowledge in the areas of Basis and Security is a plus) as well as managerial abilities to lead and support the team. 

Your main responsibilities:

• Leading and mentoring the team consisting of ABAP, Basis and Security specialists to ensure high-quality outcomes
• Delegating tasks and monitoring their completion
• Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translating them into technical specifications
• Developing, testing, and implementing SAP solutions using ABAP programming
• Providing support for SAP updates and patches to maintain system integrity. Managing SAP system configurations and regular system maintenance
• Monitoring system performance and proactively resolving issues
• Collaborating with other IT teams and vendors to ensure seamless operation of SAP system integrations
• Ensuring compliance with SAP best practices and organizational policies. Participating in both internal and external licensing and security audits

This is the right job for you if have:

• Extensive knowledge of the SAP ECC system, and ideally SAP S4/HANA DB

• Expertise in ABAP programming language

• Ability to effectively delegate tasks, and manage the team's workload
