Opis stanowiska

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and highly autonomous Senior Product Manager to lead the vision, strategy, and execution of our customer experience initiatives. In this role, you will own vertical-specific product scopes, solve complex business and customer problems, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful software solutions. If you are passionate about product craft, data-driven decision-making, and driving meaningful change in a fast-paced environment, join us!

In your daily work, you will handle the following tasks:

  • Define Product Vision & Strategy: Set vertical-specific customer experience vision and strategy, while actively contributing to and challenging the broader product strategy.
  • Translate Customer Insights: Understand user requirements, gather deep customer insights, and translate them into actionable product requirements while interacting directly with internal clients.
  • Own Roadmap Planning: Prioritize the product feature backlog, plan roadmaps, and manage mid-term product scopes (e.g., 6–12-month initiatives) with high autonomy.
  • Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with engineering, UX, research, data science, analytics, communications, technical leaders, and support teams to deliver impactful software solutions.
  • Manage KPIs & Success Metrics: Define operational and success KPIs, track performance, and link them directly to broader business KPIs and the company's vision and strategy.
  • Align Stakeholders: Engage with a diverse set of internal stakeholders and ensure clear, effective communication up to the CL8 level to build strong alignment and support.
  • Optimize Resources: Maximize the impact of available resources (such as the existing team) by recommending next steps grounded in strategic priorities.
  • Apply Data-Driven Frameworks: Use logical, data-driven frameworks to break down complex problems and determine the right analytical approach (e.g., A/B tests vs. quasi-experiments, AI vs. rule-based solutions).
  • Craft Decision Proposals: Provide structured, easy-to-understand written narratives and decision proposals (e.g., initiative press releases) supported by sound rationale.
  • Execute High-Rigor Decisions: Apply high levels of rigor and judgment in proposed solutions, accounting for customer problems, competitive landscape, product alternatives, business needs, and practical constraints.
  • Lead Through Ambiguity: Take ownership of leading parts of the team's work, including in challenging or ambiguous situations.
  • Mentor & Inspire: Inspire and engage the team and stakeholders around key initiatives, while coaching and mentoring junior PMs to foster growth in product methodology and leadership.
  • Build Peer Networks: Maintain a strong peer network to identify and advance cross-product opportunities, proactively sharing successes, failures, and key learnings.

We are looking for people with:

  • Proven Experience: Extensive background as a Product Manager or in a similar product/project management role (including roadmapping, resource planning, risk assessment, and stakeholder cooperation).
  • SDLC Knowledge: A solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and how IT processes work.
  • Analytical Mindset: Deep experience in data analysis and interpretation, with a strong ability to make decisions based on a balanced view of data, context, and experience.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities and strong decision-making skills under high levels of autonomy.
  • Agile Expertise: Practical experience with Agile methodologies and managing product backlogs.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Customer-Centric Focus: The ability to see the product through the eyes of the clients and deeply understand their needs.
  • Language Proficiency: English language skills at a minimum B2 level.

What's in it for you:

  • Flexible working hours in the hybrid model (4/1) - working hours start between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. We also have 30 days of occasional remote work.
  • Long term discretionary incentive plan based on Allegro.eu shares (restricted stock units).
  • Annual bonus based on your annual performance and company results.
  • Well-located offices (with e.g. fully equipped kitchens, bicycle parking, terraces full of greenery) and excellent work tools (e.g., raised desks, ergonomic chairs, interactive conference rooms).
  • A 16" or 14" MacBook Pro or corresponding Dell with Windows (if you don't like Macs) and all the necessary accessories.
  • A wide selection of fringe benefits in a cafeteria plan - you choose what you like (e.g., medical, sports or lunch packages, insurance, purchase vouchers).
  • English classes that we pay for related to the specific nature of your job.
  • A training budget, inter-team tourism (see more here), hackathons, and an internal learning platform where you will find multiple trainings.
  • An additional day off for volunteering, which you can use alone, with a team, or with a larger group of people connected by a common goal.
  • Social events for Allegro people - Spin Kilometers, Family Day, Fat Thursday, Advent of Code, and many other occasions we enjoy.

And that's just the beginning! You can read more about the benefits here.

  • You will value our Developer Experience and the full platform of tools and technologies that make creating software easier. We rely on an internal ecosystem based on self-service and widely used tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, Consul, GitHub, and GitHub Actions. • You will become part of Allegro Tech - We speak at industry conferences, cooperate with tech communities, run our own blog (it's been over 10 years!), record podcasts, lead guilds, and we organize our own internal conference - the Allegro Tech Meeting. We create solutions we love (and can) to talk about!
