Senior Project Specialist
Poznań, PL, 61-569
Main Responsibilities
Join the team shaping the future of payments at Allegro. At this stage, we are not looking for a narrow fintech expert – we are looking for an experienced Senior Project Specialist who excels at project coordination, process management, and "connecting the dots" in a complex environment. If you are a proactive leader who loves working with people and wants to pivot into the world of modern e-commerce, this is the perfect next step for your career.
Your main responsibilities:
-Project Leadership: Owning and driving initiatives to implement new payment solutions across European markets – from initial concept to final execution.
-Cross-functional Coordination: Acting as the primary liaison between Technology, Operations, Finance, and Legal departments to ensure a seamless flow of information and project alignment.
-Partner Relations: Managing operational cooperation with key global and local players (such as Visa, Mastercard, or BLIK).
-Process Optimization: Proactively identifying opportunities to automate and improve payment journeys to enhance the experience for millions of users.
This is the right job for you if:
-You have at least 3–5 years of professional experience in project management, business coordination, or process ownership (experience in the payment industry is not required – we provide full domain onboarding).
-You are highly ambitious and independent – you thrive when given ownership and can navigate a dynamic, multi-stakeholder environment.
-You possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills – building trust-based relationships and managing expectations are your core strengths.
-You are a natural problem-solver with excellent self-organization and a "get things done" attitude.
-You are fluent in English (min. C1) – as you will be working in an international business context.
What we offer:
-Flexible working hours in the hybrid model (4/1) - working hours start between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. We also have 30 days of occasional remote work.
- Annual bonus based on your performance and company results.
- A great learning opportunity, working with people coming from a lot of experience in top tier strategy consulting and e-commerce space.
- Well-located offices (with e.g., fully equipped kitchens, bicycle parking, terraces full of greenery) and excellent work tools (e.g., raised desks, ergonomic chairs, interactive conference rooms).
- A wide selection of fringe benefits in a cafeteria plan - you choose what you like (e.g., medical, sports or lunch packages, insurance, purchase vouchers).
- English classes that we pay for related to the specific nature of your job.
- A training budget, inter-team tourism and an internal learning platform where you will find multiple trainings.
- An additional day off for volunteering, which you can use alone, with a team, or with a larger group of people connected by a common goal.
- Social events for Allegro people - Spin Kilometers, Family Day, Fat Thursday, and many other occasions we enjoy.
And that's just the beginning! You can read more about the benefits here.
