Senior Test Automation Engineer

Join our team at the heart of Allegro's frontend and become the guardian of quality for the entire developer experience! We are responsible for creating the internal tool used by both developers and non-technical employees across the company to build, configure, and manage the whole Allegro frontend. Our mission is to empower other teams to deliver their features to users quickly and safely.

We are looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer to take a key role in ensuring that stability. You will not only elevate our team’s internal testing practices but also help guide the quality assurance for a large-scale, cross-team project.

What you’ll work on

• Design and write tests for all aspects of our platforms (Opbox/MBox), covering the frontend UI, mobile web views, and backend API connections.
• Use a practical mix of testing methods, building automated test suites while also doing manual checks for new features, regression, and performance.
• Improve our overall testing process by increasing test coverage and working to make our CI/CD pipelines give faster feedback to developers.
• Work closely with other engineers and teams, helping them test their components on our platform and sharing your knowledge of quality and automation best practices.

We are looking for people who

• Have solid experience in test automation for complex applications and are comfortable using modern tools like Playwright, Cypress, or Postman.
• Know their way around CI/CD pipelines (like GitHub workflows) and enjoy using automation to create a reliable safety net against bugs.
• Are proactive problem-solvers who communicate well, enjoy working with other teams, and are good at spotting quality risks early.
• Are genuinely interested in building tools for other developers and are curious to learn and work with a wide range of technologies - from frontend to backend and even Generative AI.
• Know English and Polish at B2 level or higher
