Job description

About the role

The Supply Chain, Planning, and Purchasing Specialist is responsible for end-to-end material availability. This role balances demand forecasting with purchasing execution. You will analyze inventory levels, predict future manufacturing or customer needs, and place purchase orders with international and domestic suppliers. The ultimate goal is to optimize inventory turns, reduce lead times, and ensure zero production downtime or stockouts.

Your main responsibilities:

1. Demand & Supply Planning

  • Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and production schedules to forecast future material requirements.

  • Maintain the MRP (Material Requirements Planning) system to ensure data accuracy for lead times, safety stocks, and reorder points.

  • Collaborate with Sales, Production, and Finance to align inventory levels with business targets.

2. Purchasing & Procurement Execution

  • Convert planned orders into purchase orders (POs) and issue them to approved vendors.

  • Track and expedite open orders to guarantee on-time delivery; proactively resolve shipment delays or discrepancies.

  • Review quantity mismatches on invoices and collaborate with Accounts Payable and warehouse teams to resolve them.

3. Supplier Management & Coordination

  • Evaluate supplier performance based on KPIs such as On-Time In-Full (OTIF) delivery and lead-time adherence.

  • Maintain routine communication with vendors regarding order status, production schedules, and capacity constraints.

  • Identify alternative sourcing options to mitigate supply chain risks and logistics dependencies.

4. Inventory Optimization

  • Monitor inventory health, identifying slow-moving, obsolete, or excess stock (SLOB).

  • Implement inventory control strategies (e.g., Just-In-Time, Kanban, ABC analysis) to maximize operational flow.

  • Participate in or lead cycle counting and annual physical inventory audits.

This is the right job for you if:

  • You have 2–5 years of experience in purchasing, material planning, or supply chain analysis. Experience in Manufacturing or E-commerce is a plus.

  • You are proficient in Microsoft Dynamics 365 or other major ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)

  • Possess advanced Excel skills (including VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, and Pivot Tables).

  • You have sharp analytical thinking, exceptional problem-solving abilities in fast-paced enviroment, strong coordination skills, and clear communication.

  • You are fluent in English (minimum B2 level).

What we offer:

  • Flexible working hours in a hybrid model (4/1) - our hours can start between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. We also have 30 days of occasional remote work.
  • Long term discretionary incentive plan based on Allegro.eu shares (restricted stock units).
  • Annual bonus based on your annual performance and company results.
  • Well-located offices (with e.g. fully equipped kitchens, bicycle parking, terraces full of greenery) and excellent work tools (e.g., raised desks, ergonomic chairs, interactive conference rooms).
  • A wide selection of fringe benefits in a cafeteria plan - you choose what you like (e.g. medical, sports or lunch packages, insurance, purchase vouchers).
  • English classes that we pay for related to the specific nature of your job.
  • A training budget, inter-team tourism and an internal learning platform where you will find multiple trainings.
  • An additional day off for volunteering, which you can use alone, with a team, or with a larger group of people connected by a common goal.
  • Social events for Allegro people - Spin Kilometers, Family Day, Fat Thursday, and many other occasions we enjoy.
