Job description

Your main responsibilities:

  • You will cooperate with people managing a Commerce business area, acting as their Business Partner and supporting them with your financial knowledge and analytical insights to guide strategic decision-making

  • You will participate in creating strategic plans, annual budgets and forecasts of Commerce business areas, and you will also analyze the implementation and realization of the established plans

  • Your job will involve, among others, calculating and monitoring the key performance indicators (KPIs) of a given business area in Allegro, analyzing deviations, their causes, and providing recommendations regarding previously analyzed data in order to improve results

  • You will participate in preparing profitability analyses for projects and investment activities, as well as in assessing such plans and projects from a financial point of view

  • You will take an active part in processes related to month-end and year-end closing, in cooperation with the accounting department and financial departments from the Group (preparing monthly management reports for the company's management, creating provisions, verifying the correctness of results)

This is the right job for you if:

  • You have min. 5 years of experience in the area of ​​financial / business analytics / controlling gained in large, dynamic organizations or in companies dealing with business consulting (advisory, audit)

  • You have a higher education in economics / finance or mathematics

  • You have worked on tools such as: MS Excel, SAP, SQL, Tableau, Data Studio or you have a high willingness to learn them quickly

  • You can explain and present financial data in an accessible way to people at very different levels of management and translate the results of the conducted analyses into business recommendations

  • You focus on the set goals, proactively look for solutions

  • You are looking for ways to automate / improve processes

  • Your professional qualifications such as ACCA / CIMA will be a strong asset

  • You communicate effectively in English (B2 / C1)
