Business Program Manager - Business Operations Team (Commerce)
Warszawa, PL, 00-841
Allegro's Commercial Division is evolving. We are shifting from highly centralized, horizontal operations to a model of decentralized Category Teams operating as autonomous, agile business engines. To enable this transition smoothly, we are establishing a core enablement program within our Business Operations team.
We are looking for a hands-on, highly organized, and data-literate Business Program Manager to serve as the operational engine of this change. In this role, you will work on the ground with Category Owners and Partner Success Advisors to map out daily commercial workflows, identify and eliminate tedious administrative bottlenecks that consume valuable commercial bandwidth, and translate strategic operational goals into clear, repeatable playbooks. This is a highly collaborative role that bridges the gap between commercial categories and central support departments.
Your Main Responsibilities
-
Work directly with Category Teams to map out day-to-day commercial processes, drafting clear, standardized operating playbooks (e.g., Weekly Business Reviews, first-party/third-party (1P/3P) pricing handovers, and joint campaign planning).
-
Audit the manual, non-strategic tasks currently consuming commercial team bandwidth (e.g., catalog quality cleanups, EAN mapping issues, basic SEO footer updates, and Jira limit approvals). Collaborate with central product and support teams to automate, streamline, or formally hand over these workflows, returning 20% of their bandwidth to commercial brand relations.
-
Partner with Category Leaders and Partner Success Advisors to help standardize and organize the commercial 'carrots' (incentive toolkits like take-rate rules, campaign access, and promotional levers) used during high-stakes brand negotiations.
-
Actively audit different category segments to find local, highly effective operational wins (e.g., custom-built AI-driven task helpers or streamlined status meeting formats) and package them into unified frameworks to scale across all commercial verticals.
-
Establish and maintain a centralized, easily searchable 'Book of Knowledge' mapping active dashboards, point-of-contact lists, and standard SLA workflows to eliminate communication friction and Slack-bouncing.
-
Regularly monitor operational progress, track workflow efficiency metrics, and report status and milestones directly to the Business Operations Manager.
This Is the Right Job for You If
-
You have 3 - 5 years of experience in project management, business operations, process mapping or a consulting/corporate-transition environment. Experience in fast-paced e-commerce or tech is a significant asset.
-
You love diving into complex, chaotic workflows and translating them into clear, visual process maps, RACI matrices, and step-by-step operating guidelines. You listen actively to busy stakeholders and build trust by solving their real-world daily friction.
-
You are comfortable navigating business intelligence tools to extract performance data, identify operational bottlenecks, and build clear, data-backed business cases.
-
You have exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills. You are highly skilled at building alignment and coordinating work across diverse cross-functional teams (Tech, Campaigns, Advertising, Sourcing) without direct formal authority.
-
You are comfortable operating in a dynamic environment where processes are evolving. You focus on delivering immediate, pragmatic 'quick wins' rather than waiting for a perfect, final system to be built.
What We Offer
-
Annual bonus based on your performance and company results.
-
Long term discretionary incentive plan based on Allegro.eu shares (restricted stock units).
-
A great learning opportunity, working with people coming from a lot of experience in top tier strategy consulting and e-commerce space.
-
Well-located office in Warsaw (with e.g., fully equipped kitchens, bicycle parking, terraces full of greenery) and excellent work tools (e.g., raised desks, ergonomic chairs, interactive conference rooms).
-
A wide selection of fringe benefits in a cafeteria plan - you choose what you like (e.g., medical, sports or lunch packages, insurance, purchase vouchers).
-
English classes that we pay for related to the specific nature of your job.
-
A training budget, inter-team tourism and an internal learning platform where you will find multiple trainings.
-
An additional day off for volunteering, which you can use alone, with a team, or with a larger group of people connected by a common goal.
-
Social events for Allegro people - Spin Kilometers, Family Day, Fat Thursday, and many other occasions we enjoy.
And that's just the beginning! You can read more about the benefits here.
