Job description

Your main responsibilities:

 

  • Development of the Kids category: You will be responsible for supporting the growth and achieving business targets for the kids and toys categorie

  • Market and trend analysis: You will track market trends (both online and offline), seasonality (e.g., Q4/holidays, Children's Day), and analyze the platform's offer to identify assortment gaps and build a competitive advantage

  • Collaboration with key partners: You will develop relationships with key manufacturers, distributors, and brands in the baby and toy industries, advising them on how to optimize sales and grow their market share on Allegro

  • Campaign and activation support: You will coordinate the category's participation in key sales and promotional campaigns (e.g., Black Week, Toy Season) and support the creation of the commercial calendar for the industry

  • Data analysis and performance monitoring: You will continuously monitor key metrics (GMV, conversion rate, assortment availability), quickly diagnose deviations, and implement corrective actions

  • Cross-functional collaboration: You will work closely with Marketing, Tech, Commercial Operations, Merchant Management and other teams in order to meet category targets and strengthen its market position



This is the right job for you, if you:

 

  • Have at least 8 years of experience in Category Management, E-commerce, Project Management or as a Key Account Manager, preferably in a kids-related industry

  • Know the specifics and potential of the Baby Gear & Toys market – understand the needs of parents (the end customer), know key manufacturers, distributors, as well as top and niche brands

  • Have a deep understanding of e-commerce mechanisms and how marketplace platforms operate

  • Possess strong analytical skills – efficiently derive insights from sales and market data and translate them into actionable business recommendations

  • Are highly proactive and goal-oriented – identify market opportunities and successfully drive initiatives to completion

  • Have excellent communication and relationship-building skills with both business partners and internal teams

  • Are fluent in English at a minimum B2 level (allowing for smooth business communication)

  • Are proficient in MS Office / Google Workspace (in particular MS Excel / Google Sheets and PowerPoint / Google Slides)
