Director, Data Analytics

Allegro is seeking a dynamic and visionary Director of Data Analytics to lead the transformation of our analytics function. The Director of Data Analytics will build a world-class Analytics Center of Excellence, enabling data-driven decision-making at all levels, and ensuring consistent methodologies, tools, and governance. By partnering with executive leadership and business units, this role will elevate the strategic role of analytics, maximize return on data investments, and foster a culture of analytical thinking and self-service insights.

Your main responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership and Vision:

• Develop and execute comprehensive analytics transformation strategies which reimagine our analytics operating model and defines the future of data analytics at Allegro

• Work closely with executive-level teams (CxO) and align analytics with business goals

• Collaborate on investment decisions related to data architecture and infrastructure

• Drive a data-driven culture and promote self-service analytics

Team Building and Management:

• Build and lead an Analytics Center of Excellence, consisting of top-class experts with a business mindset

• Implement strategies to attract, retain, and develop top data analytics talent

• Foster a culture of constant development and knowledge sharing inside the team, across the organization, and with market leaders

Technical Expertise and Innovation:

• Leverage a strong background in AI and machine learning, including generative AI technologies

• Contribute to the development of AI-powered tools for data analysis and reporting automation

• Develop and implement standardized data analytics methodologies and governance

• Collaborate with technology leaders to ensure data architecture supports the analytics vision

• Champion a mindset of continuous improvement and the exploration of new data insights and analytical techniques

Communication and Stakeholder Engagement:

• Drive excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels

• Foster the creation of an Analytics community across Allegro and ensure aligned standards across Allegro

• Articulate effectively the impact of advanced analytics to diverse audiences

• Drive cultural change and ensure organization-wide adoption of data-driven practices

This is the right job for you if you have:

• 10+ years of progressive experience in analytics leadership roles within technology, financial, or consulting organizations

• 5+ years in a senior leadership role managing data analytics teams that directly support and drive critical business objectives

• Experience working closely with executive-level teams (CxO) and aligning analytics with business goals

• Deep expertise across the full spectrum of analytics capabilities, including data engineering, business intelligence, data science, machine learning and AI

• Hands-on experience leading teams in developing and implementing advanced analytical models and AI solutions

• Strong understanding of cloud-based data platforms, data architecture, data governance, data quality, and data security

• Demonstrated track record in breaking down complex business challenges into solvable analytical problems, designing appropriate methodologies, and delivering impactful data-driven solutions

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels. Fluency in English

• Familiarity with GenAI technologies and hands-on experience implementing GenAI solutions
