Short Description
Main Responsibilities
- As a business unit leader own a category (group of categories) plan and performance.
- Translate category strategy to a 12-18 month operating plan, lead multi-team initiatives, prioritize big bets.
- Take full responsibility for the GMV and funnel of the category: define seasonal play across countries, expand profitable selection (driving results in KVI coverage and KB relevancy coverage, prioritize and improve key input KPIs).
- Orchestrate multi-team delivery, decomposesambiguous, complex problems, manage high seasonality, design standards and guardrails.
- Drive alignment across functions, lead formal committees, align directors and head across functions, drive decisions in forums, and communicate status and risk efficiently.
- Mentor and develop managers and senior team members, cultivating talent and assign ownership.
- Deliver constructive feedback kindly, ensure team stability and performance during challenging times and under pressure.
- Play an expert role in category economics and consumer experience across the countries: know brands & seller dynamics, design scalable playbooks, anticipate market shifts.
- Drive data-based growth, strategy, and disciplined experimentation.

Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in business development and strategic negotiations, preferably within the Home & Garden industry, e-commerce, or a large retail organization.

Strategic Mindset: Proven ability to interpret data, draw actionable conclusions, and influence senior leadership on strategic initiatives.

Market Knowledge: A strong understanding of online marketplaces, customer behaviors, and the competitive landscape (including local players and global Chinese platforms).

Results Orientation: High degree of independence, self-motivation, and the ability to work effective under pressure to meet ambitious targets.

Leadership Competencies: Strong skills in strategic thinking, problem-solving, risk management, and fostering cooperation across teams.

Communication Skills: Excellent presentation and negotiation skills, capable of building relations with key industry players and internal stakeholders.

Language Skills: Fluent proficiency in Polish (C1) and English (C1).

Additional: Valid Category B driving license.
