Introduction:
Join us as the Head of Health Care Category CE, a growth accelerator within Allegro. We are looking for a leader to shape the long-term strategic direction and manage a category with massive growth potential in the leading e-commerce in Central Europe.
In this role, you won't just manage a high-potential category; you will define how millions of customers shop for health products and services online. You will tackle exciting challenges, from navigating a highly competitive and regulated market, delivering an unbeatable value to consumers and partners, creating and implementing category growth strategy or defining new UX solutions along customer journeys. Your main responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the long-term vision for the Health Care category (including OTC drugs, food supplements, and medical services) across all Allegro countries. You will be accountable for delivering budget objectives, driving YoY growth, and navigating the unique regulatory and compliance landscape of the pharmaceutical and medical services sectors.

Commercial and P&L Management - own the delivery of topline and bottomline results. Define spending levels and approve investment strategies across key cost areas. Drive end-to-end financial performance from top-line GMV growth to category profitability. Leverage e-commerce metrics to steer financial decisions and drive sustainable growth.

Lead the Health Care marketplace business, partnering with key industry stakeholders, pharmaceutical brands, and medical service providers to drive selection development, exclusivity, and innovative partnership models.

Customer Obsession: enhance customer satisfaction by ensuring selection exhaustiveness, competitive pricing, and removing shopping barriers. Maximize Customer Value, Satisfaction & Loyalty of category customer base.

Assortment & Selection Architecture: Define and oversee a competitive assortment strategy, ensuring the optimal mix of brands, specific products, and price ranges.

Strategic Brand Partnerships: Engage in negotiations with key global and local brands & producers. Lead the team securing exclusive deals, building comprehensive Joint Business Plans (JBPs), and unlock dedicated marketing budgets to create a unique competitive advantage for the Health Care category.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Influence platform development by partnering with Product, Tech, Marketing, and DEX teams to improve catalog quality, findability and operational capabilities for both retail and service-based models.

International Expansion: Support go-to-market strategy to scale Health categories, including pharmacy and medical services, in new international markets, ensuring local regulatory compliance and market adaptation.

Performance Analysis: Diagnose risks and opportunities through multidimensional analysis of business metrics (GMV, Conversion, Conversion, AOV etc.), implementing growth plans to maximize category sales and operational efficiency.

People Management: Lead and develop the team to ensure the successful delivery of business goals within a complex and highly regulated environment.
We are looking for people who have:

Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in business development, strategy building and implementation within the Health Care categories / pharmacy chains, with topline and bottomline results ownership

Market Knowledge: A strong understanding of Health market, online marketplaces, customer behaviors, and the competitive landscape

E-commerce - strong understanding of the Health online ecosystem as minimum, with experience in managing online Health Care sales as an advantage.

Strategic Mindset and Analytical Thinking: Proven ability to interpret data, draw actionable conclusions, and influence senior leadership on strategic initiatives.

Results Orientation: High degree of independence, self-motivation, and the ability to work effectively under pressure to meet ambitious targets.

Leadership Competencies: Strong skills in strategic thinking, problem-solving, risk management, own team management and fostering multi-functional cooperation.

Communication Skills: Excellent presentation skills, capable of building relations with key industry players and internal stakeholders.

Language Skills: Fluent proficiency in Polish (C1) and English (C1).
