Job description

Your main responsibilities:

  • Deploy and monitor sourcing guidelines for selected categories, focusing on price and selection to support platform campaigns in Fashion, Sport, Leisure Books and Media Categories

  • Manage team of category specialists and vendor managers to maximise category KPI delivery and streamline efficiency of work and processes

  • Lead budgeting and planning for selected categories within 1P, as well as contribution to Allegro planning processes. 

  • Oversee product listings, pricing strategies, and promotional activities, ensuring compliance with category guidelines and legal requirements

  • Drive the achievement of key Retail KPIs, ensuring selected categories contribute effectively to the Allegro ecosystem

  • Supervise and develop a team of business analysts and offer development specialists, ensuring high performance and alignment with strategic objectives

  • Collaborate with other business units like Operations, Supply Chain Finance and Analytics to streamline and improve KPI delivery

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and brands, including conducting direct negotiations, yearly budgeting and joint business planning to strengthen partnerships

  • Support process automation and implement best practices to improve operational efficiency and scalability within the Retail Business Unit

This is the right job for you if:

  • Have 5+ years of experience in e-commerce/ retail category management, offer management (pricing, promo, content/master data) or analytical function

  • Have experience and deep understanding of Fashion and Sport

  • Experience with Books, Media and Leisure segments would be an additional asset

  • Understand retail pricing strategies, pricing process and pricing automation techniques - as an additional advantage

  • Have an experience with P&L management in retail

  • Are able to collaborate and drive alignment on Top Management level

  • Have strong leadership skills with the ability to challenge status quo

  • Display exceptional persuasion and influencing skills

  • Have high analytical skills

  • Present process orientation - are able to understand and operate within complex processes set-up

  • Communicate fluently in Polish and English
