Job Description

Your main responsibilities:

You will take over the ownership of (i) planning subsequent development of the current operations network across the Allegro Mall Group and (ii) optimization of its performance, in particular:

  • Analyze the current logistics network, evaluate performance metrics, and identify areas for improvement. 
  • Supervise the development and roll-out of the route and network planning tools.
  • Be able to optimize the network design, considering factors like transportation routes, time and cost of deliveries, warehouse layout & fitout, and inventory management.
  • Build the team to improve cross-functional logistic cooperation, both internally and with Allegro Delivery partners.

All in order to make sure Allegro has the most effective and efficient parcel transportation process, with no compromise on the quality for the customers.

This is the right job for you if:

  • You have at least 10 years of experience in logistics, in particular, network design and improvement
  • You have proficiency in complex data modeling and analysis, including the ability to translate data into business recommendations
  • You demonstrate strong quantitative, analytical, and conceptual problem-solving skills combined with outstanding business acumen
  • You have a good understanding of project management methodology (e.g. Prince2 or PMI) and change management methodology
  • You exhibit customer centricity coupled with financial acumen and strategic foresight
  • You have experience working in a matrix organization with stakeholders from different functions
  • You are able to motivate others, communicate complex ideas clearly - especially in writing, gain the respect of key, senior stakeholders, and work collaboratively
  • You have a self-starter, hands-on mentality, results-oriented, ready to work independently in a fast-paced and challenging project-based culture, and set the right priorities to achieve high-quality outputs
  • You have strong interpersonal and communication skills, are able to understand and appreciate different personalities, ways of thinking, and cultures
  • You work effectively in English (desired C1/C2)
  • Would be a strong asset - PhD or master's degree in physics, math, statistics or equivalent, and a degree in Business (MBA or Post-graduate studies)
