Opis stanowiska

About the team:

Shape the future of Allegro logistics as a Product Analyst.

We are launching a high-impact initiative focused on redefining how technology supports courier operations. This is not about maintaining the status quo. It's about discovery and rapid iteration. We are currently deep-diving into complex logistical data to uncover patterns and pain points that will shape our future product landscape.

In this role, you won't just analyze existing products - you will be an architect of their foundations. You will bridge the gap between raw operational data and strategic product decisions, helping us move from the "exploration phase" to building robust technological solutions that will optimize the daily work of thousands of couriers.

If you are an SQL expert with a solid foundation in Python and you thrive on translating diverse data challenges into real product impact, this is the place for you.

Important things for you:

  • Flexible working hours in the hybrid model (4/1) - working hours start between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. We also have 30 days of occasional remote work.
  • The salary range for this position depending on the skill set is as follows (contract of employment, tax-deductible cost):
    • PLN 14 600 - 20 825
    • Annual bonus based on your annual performance and company results.
  • Our team is based in Warsaw.

What You'll Do:

  • Explore Courier Operations: Gain a deep understanding of the courier world by analyzing real-world operational data, turning raw numbers into stories that improve the daily lives of our field teams.
  • Drive Product Discovery: Dive deep into untapped logistics data to identify patterns, bottlenecks, and opportunities that will define our product roadmap.
  • Partner with Product Management: Act as a strategic consultant to the PM, providing data-backed evidence to validate (or pivot) hypotheses during the early stages of project development.
  • Translate Data into Action: Move beyond just "reporting", your goal is to extract quick, actionable insights from data and translate them into clear recommendations for the next steps.
  • Define Success Metrics: Help establish the North Star metrics and KPIs for our new initiatives from the ground up, ensuring we can measure impact as we transition into the build phase.
  • Bridge the Data Gap: Work closely with the wider Data community (Engineers and Scientists) to ensure our discovery findings are based on reliable data and can be scaled into long-term technological solutions.

We are looking for people who:

  • have minimum of 3 years of experience in a Product Analyst role or a similar capacity
  • have proficiency in using SQL and a foundational understanding of Python
  • have strong statistical knowledge to conduct A/B tests
  • have a strong product mindset
  • have the ability to independently formulate hypotheses, design and conduct analyses
  • have exceptional collaboration skills, with an emphasis on clear and effective communication with various stakeholders
  • feel comfortable working in a large data community, sharing knowledge with Data Engineers, Analysts and Scientists, while remaining focused on product goals
  • any prior experience or interest in logistics, supply chain or courier operations is a plus
  • know English at a minimum level of B2

What's in it for you:

  • Well-located offices (with e.g. fully equipped kitchens, bicycle parking, terraces full of greenery) and excellent work tools (e.g., raised desks, ergonomic chairs, interactive conference rooms).
  • A 16" or 14" MacBook Pro or corresponding Dell with Windows (if you don't like Macs) and all the necessary accessories.
  • A wide selection of fringe benefits in a cafeteria plan - you choose what you like (e.g., medical, sports or lunch packages, insurance, purchase vouchers).
  • English classes that we pay for related to the specific nature of your job.
  • A training budget, inter-team tourism (see more here), hackathons, and an internal learning platform where you will find multiple trainings.
  • An additional day off for volunteering, which you can use alone, with a team, or with a larger group of people connected by a common goal.
  • Social events for Allegro people - Spin Kilometers, Family Day, Fat Thursday, Advent of Code, and many other occasions we enjoy.

And that's just the beginning! You can read more about the benefits here.

  • You will love our level of autonomy in team organization, the space for continuous development, and the opportunity to try new things. You get to choose which technology solves the problem and you are responsible for what you create.
  • You will value our Developer Experience and the full platform of tools and technologies that make creating software easier. We rely on an internal ecosystem based on self-service and widely used tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, Consul, GitHub, and GitHub Actions. • You will meet the Allegro Scale, which starts with over 1000 microservices, an open-source data bus (Hermes) with 300K+ rps, a Service Mesh with 1M+ rps, tens of petabytes of data, and production-used machine learning.
  • You will become part of Allegro Tech - We speak at industry conferences, cooperate with tech communities, run our own blog (it's been over 10 years!), record podcasts, lead guilds, and we organize our own internal conference - the Allegro Tech Meeting. We create solutions we love (and can) to talk about!
