Job Description

Job Description:

Shape the future of eCommerce as a Product Manager for the Allegro AI Shopping Assistant.

Ready to build the next generation of AI-powered shopping? Join Allegro’s Language Intelligence team and help shape how millions of customers shop in a world where expectations, habits, and technology are changing fast.

We are looking for a Product Manager to join the core team building the Allegro AI Shopping Assistant, a new kind of shopping experience that helps customers move from vague needs to confident purchase decisions.

In this role, you will work at the intersection of product, technology, and user needs, shaping a key part of the Assistant experience and helping turn modern AI capabilities into something genuinely useful, trustworthy, and scalable. You will cooperate closely with Engineering, Design, Analytics, and AI teams to create product experiences that simplify shopping.

This role is for someone who combines strong product knowledge with curiosity about technology, someone who can match the possibilities of modern AI with real user needs and turn that into impactful product experiences.

If you are excited by ambiguity, strong product ownership, and the challenge of shaping meaningful AI experiences at scale, this role is for you.

What You'll Do:

  • Own a key product area: Take ownership of one of the core areas of the Allegro AI Shopping Assistant, with responsibility for customer value, product quality, and measurable business impact.
  • Turn AI capabilities into product value: Work closely with engineers, designers, analysts, and AI specialists to transform modern AI capabilities into simple, useful, and trustworthy shopping experiences.
  • Drive discovery and decision-making: Identify meaningful customer problems, define hypotheses, evaluate opportunities, and turn ambiguous spaces into clear product choices grounded in evidence.
  • Shape AI-powered shopping experiences: Create product experiences that help customers express their needs, navigate uncertainty, compare options, and make better shopping decisions.
  • Lead strategy, execution, and alignment: Define direction for your area, prioritize the roadmap, align stakeholders, and drive execution across cross-functional teams in a fast-moving environment.
  • Use data to learn and iterate: Define success metrics, review product performance, run experiments, and continuously improve the product based on customer behavior and measurable impact.
  • Balance innovation with product judgment:  Explore new ideas while staying focused on usability, trust, quality, and customer outcomes — making sure the product is not only technologically advanced, but also genuinely helpful.

We are looking for people with:

  • Product management experience: Experience as a Product Manager or in a similar role in a technology-driven environment, with end-to-end ownership of product outcomes.
  • Strong product judgment: The ability to connect user needs, business goals, and technological possibilities, and turn that into clear product decisions.
  • Experience in ambiguous problem spaces: Comfort working in emerging areas where not everything is defined upfront, and the ability to bring structure, clarity, and momentum.
  • A user-first mindset:  A strong instinct for building products that solve real customer problems in a way that feels simple, useful, and intuitive.
  • Analytical thinking:  Experience using data, experiments, and product metrics to validate ideas, reduce risk, and iterate toward better outcomes.
  • Cross-functional leadership: Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across Product, Engineering, Design, Analytics, and ML teams.
  • Strong written communication: Very good business writing skills and the ability to articulate product direction, trade-offs, and decisions clearly.

What's in it for you:

  • Flexible working hours in the hybrid model (4/1) - working hours start between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. We also have 30 days of occasional remote work.
  • Long term discretionary incentive plan based on Allegro.eu shares (restricted stock units).
  • Annual bonus based on your annual performance and company results.
  • Well-located offices (with e.g. fully equipped kitchens, bicycle parking, terraces full of greenery) and excellent work tools (e.g., raised desks, ergonomic chairs, interactive conference rooms).
  • A 16" or 14" MacBook Pro or corresponding Dell with Windows (if you don't like Macs) and all the necessary accessories.
  • A wide selection of fringe benefits in a cafeteria plan - you choose what you like (e.g., medical, sports or lunch packages, insurance, purchase vouchers).
  • English classes that we pay for related to the specific nature of your job.
  • A training budget, inter-team tourism (see more here), hackathons, and an internal learning platform where you will find multiple trainings.
  • An additional day off for volunteering, which you can use alone, with a team, or with a larger group of people connected by a common goal.
  • Social events for Allegro people - Spin Kilometers, Family Day, Fat Thursday, Advent of Code, and many other occasions we enjoy.

And that's just the beginning! You can read more about the benefits here.
