Product Manager - DEX Merchant
Warszawa, PL, 00-841
Job Description:
Flexible working hours in an office first model (4/1) that depend on you and your team. Starting later or finishing earlier? No problem! Work hours keep pace with our lifestyles and can start between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m.
We are looking for a passionate and proactive Product Manager with a strong focus on user experience to drive crucial functionalities for Allegro merchants. This role will be responsible for designing and delivering solutions in the area of Heavy & Bulky (H&B) delivery and Value Added Services (VAS) for essential categories on the platform (e.g., large home appliances, furniture, garden equipment). Additionally, the team is responsible for merchant-facing returns, with planned improvements to eliminate manual operational work. You will be in charge of working with stakeholders to deliver value for users.
In your daily work, you will be primarily responsible for:
- Understanding and defining the critical problems faced by users, working closely with stakeholders to ensure their constraints and needs are considered, ultimately translating these into opportunities to deliver valuable outcomes for the business and customers.
- Owning the problem space and the solutions for your product area, partnering with your cross-functional engineering team to discover, design, and deliver solutions that align with strategic business objectives and drive measurable results.
- Defining the strategic problems your team will tackle, focusing on achieving business outcomes rather than just delivering features, and being accountable for the product's results.
- Driving continuous product discovery and delivery, from deeply understanding users’ needs, assessing value, usability, feasibility, and viability risks, to ensuring the successful go-to-market and ongoing evolution of solutions that achieve necessary outcomes.
- Fostering strong cross-functional collaboration across various teams and with stakeholders, providing clear strategic context to ensure alignment on objectives and shared understanding.
- Delivering impactful outcomes by leading an empowered, cross-functional product team, working directly with stakeholders, engineering teams, data analysts, UX designers, researchers, and other product managers, leveraging their collective expertise.
- Proactively running continuous product discovery to identify and validate opportunities that improve user experience and key product performance indicators, ensuring that solutions are valuable, usable, feasible, and viable.
We are looking for people with:
- Proven experience as a Product Manager or similar role in project management (product discovery, creating product strategy, roadmapping, resource planning, risk assessment, stakeholder cooperation).
- Experience in designing and implementing changes based on A/B testing and data analysis.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and strong decision-making skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and managing product backlogs.
- Ability to see the product through the eyes of the users and understand their needs.
- Fluent in Polish and English.
- Experience in AI/ML solutions (not a must, but beneficial given our strategic direction to leverage AI for data extraction, enrichment, compliance, and name quality assessment)
What we offer:
- Well-located offices (fully equipped kitchens, bicycle parking facilities) and excellent working tools (height-adjustable desks, interactive conference rooms).
- Long-term discretionary incentive plan based on Allegro.eu shares.
- Annual bonus up to 10% of the annual salary gross (depending on your annual assessment and the company's results).
- A wide selection of fringe benefits in a cafeteria plan – you choose what you like (e.g., medical, sports, or lunch packages, insurance, purchase vouchers).
- English classes paid for by us, related to the specific nature of your job.
- Laptop with M1 processor, 32GB RAM, SSD - a 16” or 14” MacBook Pro or corresponding Dell with Windows (if you don’t like Macs), two monitors, and all other gadgets you may need.
- Working in a team you can always count on, with top-class specialists and experts.
- A high degree of autonomy in organizing your team’s work; we encourage continuous development and trying out new things.
- Hackathons, team tourism, training budget, and an internal educational platform (including training courses on work organization, communications, motivation, and various technologies and subject-matter issues).
Why is it worth working with us:
- You make an impact. Allegro is a go-to marketplace across CEE, and your decisions shape one of the leading e-commerce platforms in Europe.
- You will work with first-class experts who are eager to share their knowledge, ensuring a smooth flow of know-how within the company.
- This is a great opportunity to join a team passionate about technology.
- The IT team is made up of over 2000 members who have shared their knowledge at multiple conferences (Devoxx, Confitura, Geecon) and co-create a blog: allegro.tech.
- Your ideas and suggestions for improvement will always be listened to attentively.
