Job Description:
A hybrid work model requires 1-2 days a week in the office.
We are seeking a passionate and proactive Product Manager to join our team, with a strong focus on both merchant experience and ensuring the highest standards of fulfilling orders on behalf of our Merchants. This role is integral to developing and optimizing the One Fulfillment (logistics service) area.
In this position, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing solutions for handling One Fulfillment orders, delivery methods, returns and stock withdrawals. You will not only work on improving the existing processes but also shape and create the strategy for new ways of ensuring product excellence, with a particular emphasis on keeping SLA’s and the service quality standards.
Your work will directly impact all types of merchants using the One Fulfillment service ensuring their orders are handled meeting consumer expectations and Allegro standards. This role is critical in helping Allegro maintain and improve Value Proposition of the fulfillment service e.g. by building it up with VAS’s.
In your daily work, you will be primarily responsible for:
- Understanding and defining the critical problems faced by merchants, working closely with stakeholders to ensure their constraints and needs are considered, ultimately translating these into opportunities to deliver valuable outcomes for the business and customers
- Owning the problem space and the solutions for your product area, partnering with your cross-functional engineering team to discover, design, and deliver solutions that align with strategic business objectives and drive measurable results
- Defining the strategic problems your team will tackle, focusing on delivering impactful outcomes for merchants rather than just delivering features, and being accountable for the product's results
- Driving continuous product discovery and delivery within the One Fulfillment domain (logistics service for the Merchants), from deeply understanding merchant needs, assessing value, usability, feasibility, and viability risks, to ensuring the successful go-to-market and ongoing evolution of solutions that achieve necessary outcomes
- Fostering strong cross-functional collaboration across various teams and with stakeholders, providing clear strategic context to ensure alignment on objectives and shared understanding
- Leading an empowered, cross-functional product team, working directly with stakeholders, Commerce, Legal, engineering teams, data analysts, UX designers, researchers, and other product managers, leveraging their collective expertise
- Proactively running continuous product discovery to identify and validate opportunities that improve merchant experience and key product performance indicators, ensuring that solutions are valuable, usable, feasible, and viable
- Facilitating communication across different teams and stakeholders to align objectives.
We are looking for people with:
- Proven experience as a Product Manager or in a similar product management role, including roadmapping, resource planning, risk assessment, and stakeholder cooperation
- Experience in designing and implementing changes based on A/B testing and data analysis
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and strong decision-making skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with Agile methodologies and managing product backlogs
- Ability to understand and empathize with client needs, seeing the product from their perspective
- Fluency in both Polish and English
- Experience in logistics processes is a plus, but not a requirement.
Collaboration is key: You will work closely with the Merchant Business Teams, Operations, CX, Technology, and Product departments. Your collaboration will span various teams including commerce, legal, development teams, data analysts, UX designers, researchers, and other product managers, managing inter-team dependencies.
