Location:

Warszawa, PL, 00-841

Company:  Allegro sp. z o.o.
Team:  Commerce
Contract Type:  Employee

Job description

Allegro Business is the B2B part of the largest marketplace platform in Central Europe, providing a shopping experience dedicated to the specific needs of business customers. We are shaping the future of B2B e-commerce by connecting companies of all sizes and industries with the widest group of Sellers.

We are currently looking for a driven Project Manager to join our Supply Quality team and help us deliver the best commercial value proposition for business customers. In this role, you’ll be responsible for end-to-end delivery of innovative solutions to improve the product availability (Selection) and competitive pricing (Price and Discounts) for business buyers. We are in a scale-up phase, which means you will often work on 'greenfield' projects where standards are yet to be defined. We are looking for someone who is hands-on, brings an entrepreneurial mindset and doesn't just want to follow established processes.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Ideate, deliver and own projects end-to-end, in an area where processes not always exist - your team is creating Allegro’s approach to B2B selection, pricing and discounts

  • Structure ambiguous business problems into actionable project roadmaps while navigating a fast-paced environment and manage uncertainty

  • Make sure business buyers are aware of and find the right products at Allegro Business. Run benchmarks against competitors and set-up ongoing monitoring of selection relevance metrics

  • Guarantee that customers get competitive prices for B2B-relevant products by designing and implementing price monitoring solutions

  • Create and own the B2B discount strategy, including a definition of the commercial rules and mechanics for discounts

  • Lead initiatives with the Category Management and Partner Management teams to make Allegro Business an interesting value proposition to our sellers

  • Be the advocate for our customers and improve the Marketplace for professional buyers

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong commercial and analytical skills: competitive analysis, commercial acumen, and solid understanding of market dynamics, competitor strategies, and customer behavior related to price and product availability

  • You work independently and are self-driven. You thrive in an environment that gives you the freedom to re-invent processes, re-think established ways of working and generally question the status quo

  • You are comfortable figuring out how to best achieve your goals by making use of the tools and resources given to you, while inventing new ones, if they don’t yet exist

  • A proven track record in project execution, preferably in a complex corporate or high-growth startup environment

  • Combining an entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a complex matrix environment through effective stakeholder management and cross-functional teamwork

  • Knowledge of B2B industries (Beauty, Automotive, Office, HORECA, Construction, etc.) will be an advantage

  • Experience in management consulting or a high-growth startup environment is a plus

  • Experience in category management, e.g. as a Business Development Manager in a retail or wholesale business is a plus

  • English proficiency at B2+ (strong) or C1 level

We have for you:

  • Flexible working hours in a hybrid model (4/1). We also have 30 days of occasional remote work

  • Annual bonus based on your annual performance and company results

  • Well-located offices (with e.g. fully equipped kitchens, bicycle parking, terraces full of greenery) and excellent work tools (e.g., raised desks, ergonomic chairs, interactive conference rooms)

  • A wide selection of fringe benefits in a cafeteria plan - you choose what you like (e.g. medical, sports or lunch packages, insurance, purchase vouchers)

  • English classes that we pay for related to the specific nature of your job

  • A training budget, inter-team tourism and an internal learning platform where you will find multiple trainings

  • An additional day off for volunteering, which you can use alone, with a team, or with a larger group of people connected by a common goal

  • Social events for Allegro people - Spin Kilometers, Family Day, Fat Thursday, and many other occasions we enjoy

And that's just the beginning! You can read more about the benefits here

#goodtobehere means that:

  • You will shape the future of e-commerce - creating innovative, pioneering solutions that set new market standards. We have over 21 million active buyers across 6 countries and collaborate with more than 164k Partners

  • You will be part of a team that always aims to stay one step ahead of the market - we act quickly, dynamically, and at the highest level, because only then we can genuinely shape the future of e-commerce

  • You will build your own development path - with access to diverse business areas, large-scale international projects, internal mobility, inter-team tourism, and regular feedback from your manager, you will drive your growth

  • You will see that mistakes are opportunities to learn - we believe that no matter how well we execute, we can always get better
