Opis stanowiska

Your main responsibilities:

  • Executing compliance audits: Conducting internal audits focused on regulatory compliance across Allegro's entities, centered around our FinTech operations (Allegro Pay, Allegro Finance).

  • Analyzing regulations & processes: Reviewing legal and regulatory requirements (e.g., applicable laws, KNF guidelines) and evaluating how internal processes and controls align with them.

  • Testing & documentation: Assessing the design and operational effectiveness of internal controls, reviewing documentation, and examining financial and operational data with high attention to detail.

  • Delivering actionable insights: Drafting clear, comprehensive audit reports in English and presenting findings and recommendations to management and the Audit Committee.

  • Monitoring implementation: Tracking the implementation of recommended improvements and verifying that corrective actions are properly executed.

  • Cross-functional collaboration: Working closely with business, legal, and finance teams, as well as participating in operational and business audits beyond the core compliance scope.

This is the right job for you, if you:

  • Have an analytical and inquisitive mindset: You enjoy "connecting the dots," meticulously reviewing legal or regulatory texts, and digging into details to verify compliance.

  • Possess relevant educational or professional background: You have a degree in Law, Finance, or a related field, or previous experience in banking, financial institutions, or audit/compliance environments.

  • Understand financial sector regulations: You have foundational knowledge of financial market concepts, regulatory frameworks, and licensing requirements, with specific focus on payment institutions and lending institutions.

  • Are fluent in English and Polish: You can comfortably analyze Polish legal/regulatory documents and write clear, structured audit reports and communicate in English (B2/C1).

  • Enjoy a dynamic work environment: You thrive in a fast-paced, evolving organization and welcome the opportunity to work on unique, non-standard market solutions rather than routine tasks.

  • Are eager to learn and grow: You are open to picking up new skills (e.g., internal data tools, complex data analysis, SQL) under the guidance of experienced team mentors.

The following are nice to have (we will teach you the rest):

  • Professional industry certifications such as CIA, CISA, ISO 27001, or similar.

  • Practical knowledge of SQL or experience working with financial and accounting systems.

  • Direct experience with the SOX environment.

What we offer:

  • Flexible working hours in the hybrid model (4/1) - working hours start between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. We also have 30 days of occasional remote work.

  • Annual bonus based on your performance.

  • A great learning opportunity, working with people coming from a lot of experience in top tier strategy consulting and e-commerce space.

  • Well-located offices (with e.g., fully equipped kitchens, bicycle parking, terraces full of greenery) and excellent work tools (e.g., raised desks, ergonomic chairs, interactive conference rooms).

  • A wide selection of fringe benefits in a cafeteria plan - you choose what you like (e.g., medical, sports or lunch packages, insurance, purchase vouchers).

  • English classes that we pay for related to the specific nature of your job.

  • A training budget and an internal learning platform where you will find multiple trainings.

  • An additional day off for volunteering, which you can use alone, with a team, or with a larger group of people connected by a common goal.

  • Social events for Allegro people - Spin Kilometers, Family Day, Fat Thursday, and many other occasions we enjoy.
