Senior Category Owner

Your main responsibilities:
- Working on the development of selected categories (i.e., home furnishings and lighting) in a dynamic team and cross-functionally (contact with many internal departments within Allegro, from marketing to technology).
- You will be responsible for the development and achievement of results of selected categories.
- You will analyze the assortment and track online/offline trends to identify assortment gaps and category growth opportunities.
- You will take responsibility for monitoring category performance in order to diagnose potential problems and propose solutions.
- You will coordinate, from the category side, sales-supporting campaigns on the platform and co-create the annual event and activations calendar.
- You will be responsible for developing cooperation with key brands to improve their results on Allegro.
- You will lead projects in the business-technology area.
This is the right job for you if:
- You have at least 3 years of experience in a position related to category management, product development on marketplace/e-commerce platforms, or experience as a Key Account Manager.
- You know the specifics of the industry they are responsible for: solutions, manufacturers, brands, B2C and B2B specifics, and sales channels.
- You understand the mechanisms of how online business, e-commerce works.
- You have highly developed analytical skills and base their decisions on data.
- You are able to plan and organize their work well and manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- You proactively identify problems and recommend solutions.
- You are focused on collaboration and business efficiency.
- You know English (at least B1/B2).
- You have presentation skills.
- You are proficient at tools such as Excel and PowerPoint.
