Job description

As a Senior Data Analyst in the Traffic & Conversion Rate Optimization team, you will drive data-based decisions across our e-commerce operations. We are looking for an experienced analyst to build analytical processes from raw events to high-level strategic insights.

Our goal is to optimize traffic and conversion across all Allegro markets, transitioning to an “AI-first” model with fully automated analytics. You will partner with performance marketing and commerce teams, take technical ownership of projects (like Automated Anomaly Detection or Advanced Decomposition of Conversion Factors), and help develop our Google Looker BI environment.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Traffic & Conversion Analysis: Analyze visits, conversion rate, and transactions across external traffic sources for 4 markets.

  • Strategic Partnering: Act as a dedicated analytical partner for performance marketing and growth teams (e.g. PPC, SEO, MA, Affiliate, App marketing), translating data into actionable recommendations.

  • Marketing Analytics: Develop attribution frameworks, analyze Customer Lifetime Value (CLV), and evaluate campaign performance.

  • Budget Planning: Co-creating budget targets within the traffic funnel.

  • BI & Reporting: Build and optimize interactive reporting environments (e.g., Google Looker, Google Data Studio) for business stakeholders.

  • Data Quality: Monitor traffic health, analyze bot patterns, and detect data anomalies.

  • Automation: Create and optimize automated reporting cycles and data workflows.

This is the right job for you, if you:

  • Have strong Data Analytics experience in E-commerce or Digital Marketing.

  • Are proficient in SQL and Google BigQuery.

  • Have hands-on experience with Apache Airflow.

  • Familiarity with BI tools like Looker or Tableau (Looker migration experience is a big plus).

  • Hold a degree in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, etc.).

  • Speak fluent English (B2+) and confidently present insights to senior leadership.

  • Combine deep analytical skills with a proactive stakeholder management approach.

  • Understand marketing attribution concepts.

  • Are open to using AI tools (e.g., Gemini, Copilot, ChatGPT) to boost daily efficiency.

What we offer:

  • Flexible working hours in the hybrid model (4d office/1d home) - working hours start between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. We also have 30 days of occasional remote work

  • A great learning opportunity, working with people coming from a lot of experience in top tier strategy consulting and e-commerce space

  • Well-located office in Warsaw (with e.g., fully equipped kitchens, bicycle parking, terraces full of greenery) and excellent work tools (e.g., raised desks, ergonomic chairs, interactive conference rooms)

  • A wide selection of fringe benefits in a cafeteria plan - you choose what you like (e.g., medical, sports or lunch packages, insurance, purchase vouchers)

  • English classes that we pay for related to the specific nature of your job

  • A training budget and an internal learning platform where you will find multiple trainings

  • An additional day off for volunteering, which you can use alone, with a team, or with a larger group of people connected by a common goal

  • Social events for Allegro people - Spin Kilometers, Family Day, Fat Thursday, and many other occasions we enjoy
