Intro

Senior Manager, Program Management will play a critical role in driving the successful execution of a large-scale transformation program for Allegro (Mall Turnaround) and building high-performing commerce PMO. This role requires a highly experienced and results-oriented leader with a proven track record in managing complex projects and programs within the e-commerce industry.

The leader will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of 5 transformation managers, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, and delivering impactful outcomes for the organization:

Your main responsibilities:

Program Leadership & Strategy:

  • Provide overall leadership and direction for the transformation program, ensuring alignment with Allegro's strategic goals and objectives.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive program roadmap, outlining key milestones, deliverables, and timelines.

  • Define program governance structures, communication plans, and risk management strategies.

Team Management & Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and coach a team of 5, fostering a high-performing and collaborative environment.

  • Delegate responsibilities effectively, provide guidance and support, and monitor individual performance.

  • Identify training and development needs for team members, promoting continuous learning and skill enhancement.

Project & Program Execution:

  • Oversee the execution of individual projects within the transformation program, ensuring adherence to project management methodologies and best practices.

  • Monitor project progress, identify roadblocks, and implement corrective actions to ensure efficient execution

Stakeholder Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, ensuring effective communication and alignment on program objectives and progress.

  • Proactively manage stakeholder expectations, address concerns, and resolve conflicts.

  • Provide regular program updates and reports to senior management (incl. SteerCos, IR, BoD, OP etc.), highlighting key achievements, challenges, and risks

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the program management framework.

  • Implement best practices and retros to enhance program efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in project and program management.

This is the right job for you if have:

  • Fluent level of English and Czech,
  • Proven experience (typically 8+ years) in project management in consulting an business environment or related fields,
  • Strong understanding of business strategies and international stakeholder management in matrix organizations,
  • Strategic, problem solving and critical thinking,
  • Data-driven approach, with experience in analyzing and using BI, PM tools
  • ITIL / PRINCE / AgileProject Management knowledge will be an advantage,
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
