This role offers more than typical product analytics. You will collaborate with diverse experts - from Data Scientists and Risk Specialists to Software Engineers - gaining a holistic view of the product lifecycle and developing a uniquely broad range of professional skills.

Job Description:

As a Senior Product Analyst, you will work on strategic analyzes creating directions for the development of our products and assessing the impact of initiatives on the organization's financial results. At Allegro Pay, analytics is at the heart of our product!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to creating a strategy and setting the direction of activities in the area of financial services offered on Allegro
  • Give recommendations based on your analysis to the main decision-makers within Allegro (you’ll have a real impact on shaping the customer behavior on our platform)
  • Calculate major financial metrics (e.g., Incrementality of financial products, CLV) while providing full auditability and reliability of data processes
  • Create new processes based on data while maintaining best practices in the area of software engineering 
  • Participate in the design of business processes using data products and in their production implementation

Technologies you will encounter in your daily work: Airflow, Python, Snowflake, Snowpark, DBT, SQL, GitHub Actions, Tableau, BigQuery, GitHub Copilot, OpenCode

We are looking for people who:

  • Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the role of product/ data analyst or data engineer (experience gained in consulting or financial institution is most welcome)
  • Know SQL fluently, write complex SQL queries, have experience in SQL query optimization
  • Have some experience in creating dashboards in BI tools (Tableau preferred)
  • Care about repeatability and reusability of code (knowledge of Git is an advantage)
  • Have some experience with Python in data processing and analytics context
  • Know how to transform data into knowledge, draw conclusions and give insightful recommendations
  • Want to develop both technically and business-wise
  • Have knowledge of experimental design, A/B testing methodologies, and product analytics metrics
  • Are independent, proactive, inquisitive and meticulous, eager to take on new challenges and responsibilities
  • Are real team players - we have a really nice team and we are looking for someone who will get involved in the life of the team
  • Know Polish and English at least at B2 level
