Senior Program Manager (Commercial Excellence)

Your main responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and closure of significant programs, often spanning multiple product areas or business units with a strong focus on commercial excellence initiatives including selection expansion, pricing optimization, promotional strategy, and commercial operational efficiency.

Ensure programs align directly with defined business objectives and functional strategies, translating strategic goals into actionable deliverables, particularly across key commerce levers such as assortment growth, price competitiveness, and promotional effectiveness.

Define program scope, objectives, deliverables, and success metrics, ensuring strong alignment with overarching business goals.

Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, including senior managers/directors, managing their expectations and ensuring active engagement.

Drive change adoption across multiple teams, ensuring readiness for program outcomes and influencing alignment on critical decisions related to commercial programs
-
Proactively identify, assess, and prioritize program risks, dependencies, and issues, developing effective mitigation and contingency plans.

Facilitate seamless communication and coordination among diverse cross-functional teams to achieve program objectives, including commercial, tech, analytics, and operations stakeholders.

Drive consensus and decision-making, particularly in ambiguous or complex scenarios.

Develop and manage comprehensive program plans, including detailed timelines and resource allocation.

Manage issue resolution, escalating critical roadblocks when necessary to ensure program continuity.

Identify and advocate for process improvements within programs and contribute to wider program delivery process enhancements.

Actively share program lessons, tools, and best practices within the project management community.

Can focus on more than one program (project portfolio) or multiple complex projects or one large company level program, typically within the commerce domain covering selection, pricing, promotions, and commercial operational excellence initiatives.
This is the right job for you if have:

At least 5 years of experience in leading end-to-end program lifecycles (planning, execution, and closure) across multiple product areas or complex business units.

Analytical & problem solving skills: Ability and experience in solving complex business problems, and deriving business insights based on data.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Strong ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and align diverse groups towards shared goals; proven ability to effectively manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment across diverse teams.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to maintain clear and transparent communication channels and provide regular updates.
-
Results Reporting: Experience in reporting on results and the impact of implemented actions.

Demonstrated ability to translate high-level business objectives and functional strategies into actionable deliverables and measurable success metrics.

Proven track record of managing a diverse portfolio of programs or high-impact, company-wide initiatives simultaneously.

Ability to build and maintain relationships with senior management, effectively managing expectations and securing buy-in.

Skilled at driving decision-making and fostering agreement in highly ambiguous or complex scenarios.
