Senior Software Engineer

Your main responsibilities:
- Coordinate team projects to align with broader organizational goals.
- Collaborate with Engineering Managers and Product Managers to align team priorities.
- Include user perspectives into team product development efforts.
- Design with accessibility in mind from the beginning, implement accessible components following accessibility guidelines and support the team in building accessible applications at the architectural and process level.
- Conduct off-hours duty on team products; possible opt-out based on manager's decision (special cases).
- Take ownership of team projects and ensure their successful delivery.
- Serve as a Tech Lead at least once per year to guide team initiatives.
- Evaluate multiple technical solutions and select the best trade-off for implementation.
- Make critical decisions on complex system architecture challenges.
- Consult with cross-functional teams on product architecture considerations.
- Contribute to managing risks and dependencies associated with changes.
- Drive the design process to develop effective technical solutions.
- Solve complex problems within the team's scope of responsibility.
- Manage and reduce team technical debt proactively.
- Encourage the team to consistently address and reduce technical debt.
- Maintain deep product domain knowledge and understand how related domains function.
- Understand dependencies and interactions between multiple organizational domains.
- Demonstrate expert-level skills and experience in selected technologies at the team level.
- Apply practical experience across various technologies, including databases, deployment systems, and mobile platforms.
- Set and uphold high standards for code quality across the team.
- Exhibit technological versatility to support a wide range of development activities.
- Provide regular constructive feedback to team members.
- Actively engage with and respond to feedback received from others.
- Promote a culture of feedback by encouraging team members to share input.
- Guide team communication practices by improving discussion quality and structure.
- Facilitate assertive and inclusive discussions to encourage team engagement.
- Continuously develop skills in new technologies and directions.
- Support and mentor team members in technical, business, and organizational areas.
- Share knowledge regularly and proactively within the team and immediate environment.
