Software Engineer 1 (.NET) - Core System

The role

We are looking for a Software Engineer with a solid foundation in .NET and backend development to join a team responsible for our core financial system - the absolute source of truth for customer and loan data. Your focus will be on improving system performance, scalability, and reliability, while designing and delivering new capabilities and continuously raising the quality and maintainability of the codebase. You will also work closely with internal business stakeholders, such as Accounting and Controlling teams, to understand their needs and translate them into robust technical solutions.

Important things for you:

• Flexible working hours in the hybrid model (4/1) - working hours start between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. We also have 30 days of occasional remote work.

• The salary range for this position depending on the skill set is as follows (contract of employment, tax-deductible cost):

  • PLN 11 200 - 15 250

  • Annual bonus based on your annual performance and company results.

• Our team is based in Warsaw.

We are looking for people who:

• Have experience in .NET backend development

• Have practical experience working with SQL databases, specifically PostgreSQL

• Are eager to understand the broader business context and communicate effectively with internal clients

• Demonstrate a high sense of responsibility and resilience, as you will be working with critical financial data

• Are open to actively utilizing AI tools (such as GitHub Copilot) to optimize their daily coding tasks

• Value independence and are ready to take ownership of the features they deliver from start to finish

• Are committed to continuous learning, open to constructive feedback, and willing to continuously improve their skills and ways of working

• Collaborate effectively within a team, share knowledge, and contribute to a supportive engineering culture

• Speak fluent Polish (essential for daily communication with business stakeholders) and communicative English (at least B2 level)
